NTR1M Skate Academy was founded in 2024 by national athlete Marcus Ng, with the goal of making quality inline skating coaching more accessible. We provide private and group inline skating lessons across Singapore, with a structured pathway shaped by real competitive experience.

The program is the stage of development; the curriculum levels sit inside each program. Progression is based on coaching judgement and demonstrated readiness.

A separate pathway for skaters who want focused competition preparation and higher-performance training. Competition is optional and is not required to progress through the academy curriculum.
Every new student begins with a 1-hour Trial Session combining coaching and assessment. We look at current ability, confidence, coachability, attitude and interest, then recommend the most suitable next step.
Private coaching offers individual attention. Group coaching includes more than 3 skaters of roughly similar ability.
Former Team Singapore inline freestyle athlete, bringing national-team and international competition experience into structured, practical coaching.

Lessons are available for children from age 3 and adults.
Coaching is available islandwide at suitable locations across Singapore.
Private coaching starts from S$50/hour, group coaching from S$40/hour/person, and Competitive Development from S$80/hour.
Private coaching offers individual attention. Group coaching includes more than 3 skaters of roughly similar ability. If no suitable group is available, a skater may begin privately.
Progress varies by confidence, practice, attendance and individual readiness. Progression through the curriculum is based on coaching judgement.
We try to continue under shelter where possible. If a lesson cannot proceed, the applicable weather policy will be followed.
Skates and a helmet are required. Equipment rental is available at S$15 per session, and we can also provide guidance when choosing skates.
No. Competition is optional. Competitive Development is available for skaters who want focused preparation.
